Fig's application is entirely automated and will not require you to visit a physical location, or provide any supplementary documents, though we will collect this information during your application.
What You'll Need
- Online banking credentials
- Canadian government-issued photo ID
Banking Details
Fig partners with Flinks to automatically collect your banking details during your application. We request that you link your primary bank account which your payroll is deposited to.
Once your loan is successfully booked, your banking details will allow us to deposit your loan, as well as automatically withdrawing your payments.

Photo ID
To comply with government regulations and industry standards, Fig is required to collect one piece of government-issued photo ID during your application. Our partner OnFido supports this portion of the application through their mobile interface.
Currently supported Canadian documents
- Passport
- Permanent Resident Card
- Driver's License
- Provincial ID (excluding Health Card)
For The Most Seamless Experience We Recommend:
- Have your mobile device on hand
- Having a strong, reliable network connection
- Ensuring that your device is up to date
