Effective February 24, 2025 all newly booked loans will be updated to a new version of the Fig Account. If you are unable to follow the below instructions as written, you may be using this new version or have been updated to this new version. Instructions can be found below for this process with your account under "Fig Account 2.0".
Certain payment changes may not be available depending on your current loan status, and we recommend you contact our expert support team if you need any assistance.
- Make A Manual Payment
- Defer Upcoming Payment
- Change Payment Schedule or Frequency
- Change Linked Bank Account
Make A Manual Payment
Login via my.fig.ca with email and password
Select View Details under the loan you’d like to view
Under Summary, select Make a payment
Choose the payment type you would like to make:
Pay my next payment - Manually transact the amount of your upcoming automated payment, will replace the scheduled payment
Pay a different amount - Manually transact an amount of your choosing, will not replace your next scheduled payment
Pay the remaining balance of my loan - Manually transact the full remaining balance of your loan, your loan will be closed and no scheduled payments will transact after complete.
Select Next
Review the payment information and select Confirm
Note: Manual payments will be transacted from your linked payment account within one business day. To update your linked account see: Change Linked Bank Account.
Defer Upcoming Payment
Login via my.fig.ca with email and password
Select View Details under the loan you’d like to view
Under Summary, select Delay my next payment
Enter your new payment date and select Next
Review the details of your payment change and select Confirm
Note: Payment deferrals are not available for accounts:
- Before a first loan payment
- In bad standing
- Which have been deferred in the last 12 months
Change Payment Schedule or Frequency
Login via my.fig.ca with email and password
Select View Details under the loan you’d like to view
Under Summary, select Change payment schedule
Select your payment frequency
Select the date of your first payment with this frequency
Review Your payment schedule details and select Next
Review the list of upcoming automated payments in your new payment schedule
A new PAD agreement will be generated for this change, which must be agreed to with a checkbox before proceeding
Select Confirm to accept all the changes which have been made
Note: Payment schedule changes are only made effective as of your loan's next contractual due date. Your next upcoming payment date will not change as a result of updating your payment schedule. Payment schedule or frequency changes are available for accounts that are in good standing.
Change Linked Bank Account
Login via my.fig.ca with email and password
Select View Details under the loan you’d like to view
Under Summary, select Change payment method
Once Flinks information is reviewed, select Connect
Search for your financial institution and enter your login credentials (These will be same credentials as your online banking)
Select your desired chequing or savings account and select Continue
A new PAD agreement will be generated for this change, which must be agreed to with a checkbox before proceeding
Select Confirm to accept all the changes which have been made
Fig Account 2.0
Make A Manual Payment
- Login via my.fig.ca with your email and your one-time code
- From the toolbar, select Manage Payments on web or Payments on mobile
- Select Make a manual payment
- Choose the payment type you would like to make:
- Pay my next payment - Manually transact the amount of your upcoming automated payment, will replace the scheduled payment
- Pay a different amount - Manually transact an amount of your choosing, will not replace your next scheduled payment
- Pay the remaining balance of my loan - Manually transact the full remaining balance of your loan, your loan will be closed and no scheduled payments will transact after complete.
- Select Next
- Review the payment information and select Submit payment
Note: Manual payments will be transacted from your linked payment account within one business day. To update your linked account see:Change Linked Bank Account.

- From the toolbar, select Manage Payments on web or Payments on mobile
- Select Delay my next payment
- Enter your new payment date and select Next
